Nalugu : An Important & Significant Event In Wedding

Nalugu : A Ceremony, filled with joy, is celebrated by both parties involved. During this ceremony, Sandalwood (Gandham paste) is applied to the bride, and women, including the co-mothers-in-law. Playful and light-hearted activities take place, such as creating garlands made of chillis, raw Tamarind seeds (seema chinthakaya), stitched hats, vegetable garlands, appadas (deep-fried savory snack), and kadiyas with wadiyas (traditional sweets).

Nalugu & Bridegroom

Upon completion of the ceremony, a suitcase is prepared, containing various decorative items, and it is presented to the bridegroom as a gesture of goodwill.
