Ongu Dookudu : A Traditional Game Played Mostly By Boys
Ongu Dookudu : A Traditional And Popular Game , Also Known As “Bend and Jump”.
Here’s how it is played:
- One person sits on the ground and stretches one leg out in front of them.
- The other players take turns crossing over the extended leg. They place the heel of their foot on the toe of the extended leg and cross over it.
- Once they have crossed over, they extend the fingers of their right hand and place them on top of the foot they just crossed over.
- The sitting person then bends their body, starting by touching the toe with the fingers of their hand, then moving to the knee, the thigh, and so on.
- All the players take turns passing beyond the sitting person as they continue to bend and touch different parts of their bodies.
- Players who cannot pass beyond the sitting person are counted as losers.
