Bhima Radhasanti & Scriptures

According to the scriptures, Lord Parvati mentioned that only beings who have completed Sahasramasa (70 years) are eligible to perform the ritual of Kanakabhishekam. This ritual involves the act of pouring gold over the body, symbolizing purification and divine blessings. It is believed that performing Kanakabhishekam can grant residence in the world of Lord Vishnu to the ten previous generations and the eleven future generations of the person. This ritual can even be practiced by someone who has seen their great-grandson, indicating the age and wisdom associated with it.

Bhima Radhasanti is a celebration of longevity, wisdom, and the blessings of the divine. It marks a significant milestone in a person’s life and is a time for reflection, gratitude, and spiritual connection.
